Path

Looking down one of the arched pathways that connected the dorm buildings. The number of bricks manufactured and used for construction at this facility was impressive.

Beautiful brickwork. Just think, a human hand touched every one of these bricks during construction.
Awesome shot!
I love the shadows.
It almost looks like an optical illusion!

I love this! I love all that brickwork! It is so beautiful and in really good shape by the looks of it--at least right here. :)
Have to wonder how many feet walked this path? How many made changes and started a new life, and how many came back or never left the system.
Wow! The lines created by the light are beautiful.
It seem so quiet and peacefull in the sun.
Wow if those bricks could talk....

This place has lots of history. Lots of riots that occured here at this prison, in the past, well from what I am researching.
I seem to find myself appreciating architectural shots a lot more since I got a job in the Construction Industry. Great pics as always Motts :)
