We found an open manhole that led to an interesting brick tunnel; unfortunately the end was secured with lots of rebar!

@ Tjcee OH yeah! That is on the West Side and I am more on the North Side (Green Ridge) but we go to the Burger King on Luzerne St. sometimes. :) That street and area has changed SO much!

Maybe the morgue tunnel?

That's a LOT of rebar, there, in any case. They didn't want anyone using that tunnel. Wonder if it was structurally unsound or something.

That has been cut and repaired more than once. Am I to assume some of the resort guests didn't like the accommodations?

Could the rebar be there due to the damage caused in an escape ( or an attempted one), or was that grid put up more recently? Just a thought.
