Oh my. Even in this ruined state, the beauty of the stone work shines through. Spectacular architecture.
It is beautiful in this state. I loved the vintage photos of this place...gives me something to compare these shots to.
Look at the windows shape... they build nothing like that today. :(

I cant believe this place was literaly in my back yard. Too bad it is gone now,it would have been a great place to see in person.

It looks so much like a castle. It probably was better built than most buildings today. What a shame to tear it down really. Its sad it couldn't have been reused. It would've cost alot of $$ to fix it up though I'm sure. Since it looks like the roof was gone.(and whatever else) What a shame!! Thanks for the picture, Motts!!
