I'm speechless! This photo is beautiful yet nightmarish. Like something seen in a dreamlike state causing one to awaken in a cold sweat. The trees seem void of life as does this building. Well done, Mr. Motts.
Well said ,Larry D
Indeed Larry D, well said.
Looks almost sinister, like a nightmare indeed.

Nice. :D
"There is a light, in the forest,
There is a shape, in the tree...."

'Tis very Tom Waits....
Yes Larry D, nightmarish. The sky is red.
Hmmm... I seem to have read something like this in Revelations.
An amazing shot. Once again Mr. Motts has an excellent eye for angles. FIrst you see the tree trunks, then it hits you that there is a tower behind, and with reddish sky to cap it off. Fanastic!
I expect Tim Burton to pop out somewhere... Very Nice indeed!
After one spends some time away from home, whether the trip was good or bad, long or just for the day, there is always an exhilarating excitement one feels when you make the final turn allowing you to see your home, familiar and comfortable, through the trees and silloueted against the evening sky. It's good to be back. To me this photo captures that feeling, but with a dark and hellish lunacy. A snapshot from a moment in that same event, but seen through the eyes of Satan. It gives me some sence of joy, but of which would also be the joy felt by demons. Amazing photo, Motts. Always impressed, and now possessed!
This looks like an image Tim Burton would use. :)
wonderful
takes my breath away.....
Awesome.
Spooky beauty...
Well said, Willie!!
Reminds me of a still from an old Hammer vampire flick
