Or a chair for Flat Stanley?
It's holding out it's hand, waiting for the introductory shake
Looks like it was mad of cardboard???
LOL, Perfect example of German Engineering ( past dumb comment I made on an other image) to the way the rest of us would engineer a wheelchair design
Wow, great find with this, Motts. Very interesting to see a place with such a rich history untouched like this. The engineers must have just left this unfinished, hanging on the wall.
How many chairs were in that room?
to funny kathy, my son is reading those books, otherwise i wouldn't understand what you were talking about
There must have been some pretty skilled people making these chairs, I wonder how you come by that sort of expertise.
Flat Stanley???
I don't know, Flat Stanley popped into my head. Perhaps it's the teacher in me? I guess Flat Stanley needs a flat chair and not a wheelchair prototype (which is very cool, BTW). Do you know Flat Stanley? I won't babble on about it, just in case anyone is wondering, here's a link. (He obviously has absolutely nothing to do with UE.)

LOL nifer. :)
Hahahahahaha, Flat Stanley. That takes me back....
HAHAH My son had to do a Flat Stanley project last year! The class had to send him to a person they knew and that person would write about adventures that they had and send it back to the school. He sent it to my gramma (the only relative I have) and she wrote about going to Florida and other places like living in Japan and all. I still have it--in fact it is hanging on my wall right now. :)
Gotta love Flat Stanley. ;-D
how did Stanley get flattened....awww poor Stanley (a moment of silence please)
Humm...anyone know the answer to that question...

Was Flat Stanley EVER 3-dimensional or was he always flat?

This picture makes me think of recycling...that reminds me....*off to recycle my corrugated cardboard now*
LOL Joe! Here I go again....a bulletin board fell on Stanley when he was sleeping in bed and flattened him. Poor, poor Stanley. (Sorry for my Flat Stanley tangent, Motts....) :-)
Hey Kathy--thanks for that! Poor Poor Stanley...

I guess being flat has its advantages...you can slip through VERY thin cracks to get away from someone...

I don't mind your tangents Kathy...Tangent away. :)
Awww, thanks! :) I'll keep them to a minimum from now on, lol!

Hmmm, it would be easy for Flat Stanley to explore, wouldn't it? Haha!
I'd hate to have to engineer an actual chair going by that prototype,
it's not very, for lack of a better word; Inspirational.
LOL so true Matt--looks like something my 6 year old would dream up lol. :)

I noticed the lack of soap dispenser shots in this gallary...=-o
made of cardboard?
must be bata
Being a special education teacher myself, I absolotely LOVE Flat Stanley!
That is nailed into bricks????
Flat Stanley... I remember reading the first book in like first or second grade.
