Banded

Banded

One of the many very empty rooms, with a splash of color.

Reminds me of those generic cups from the 70s (I could be wrong on the time frame) with the orange swirls and such.
very tasteful lol
I also thought of the 70s when I saw this. Any ideas as to what the room was used for?
Reminds me of the old Houston Astro's uniforms!
I love the brightness it gives the room. Beats Pepto Pink and that horrid green!
Looks like a group of insane clowns painted it.
Looks like the old skating rink I used to go to in the 80s!
Is this the cafe-gyma-torium? Yes, the orange lines look like 1970's art don't they?
It does look like a Astro's uniform.
A splash of color, LOL Mr. Motts! Like Michelle said, I feel like I should be roller skating...perhaps while wearing an old Astro's jersey? ;-D
Clearly crafted by someone more skilled in the art of poop smearing.
YEAH...roller-rink! That is EXACTLY what I thought of too.

Welcome back to the 80s people...as if living through them once wasn't bad enough lol. :)

Wow. Talk about major flash-back. I am going to put a ton of hairspray in my hair now, and put 80s clothes on and rock out to Def Leppard and Madonna now. :D
On the right door, is there a little door attached to the lower part of the big one?
Wow! Alot of Astro's ppl. out there! Living in Tx. myself i agree with the comments. Also reminds me of one of the walls inside the Astrodome and going to Astroworld. I miss those days!
Reminds me of the 1970's TV promo for the ABC Sunday Night Movies.
Very 70's for sure, the floor is very 50's
I was thinking what Jackie said , 70 's wall and 50's floor.
Looks like something Boards of Canada would use in their artwork.
I thought roller skating rink too lol
Shades of Peter Max! His influences are in many things from the late 60s into the early 80s, including these wall graphics. Anyone remember the Peter Max psychedelic book covers that Burger King gave away? Put his name into google image search to see much coolness.
ok this next song is a couples skate only.....if you dont have a partner, please leave the floor. And this next song goes out to Stacey from Mark....he will always love you :softly playing Jorney's Faithfully in the background:
LOL Joe...THAT brought back memories BIG TIME. :D

I remember couples skate...I always had to sit on the sidelines with the rest of the nerds, freaks, and nobodies (I was all three yikes) and feel so left out, stared at, and just out of place.

Thanks for that...is therapy over now. :D :D
Lithuanian flag colours. :D
Funny you mention it, einafets, because that was the first thing that came to my mind too. Generic cups from the 70s/early-80s.
Hello, 1973? I think you left one of your walls here...
Someone spent a lot of time painting all that only to be left to rot. I find that the saddest part of all. . .
Saw this and had to go make it in illustrator. Keep the shots coming!
I thought roller rink as well, and I know the 70's cups you speak of einafets
GROOVY Man !!!!
I thought of some firey 60s acid trip. But that's me.
"....Burn, baby BURN!...disco INFERNO!!!...."...OK, cheesy...I know, but hey, that's what it looks like. dim the lights, add a disco ball, and hey, you've got yourself a genuINE polyester palace! :-D...I'll wear my platforms with the goldfish in the heels!!! :-D
Looks like my old high school
my cousin had this exact design painted on her bedroom wall in 1978 in browns
Nice to see a bit of colour :)
