Nifty find!
Cool find!
Is that fire damage or water damage ?
I think it's just "mold damage."
The dreaded "mold damage". Yuck. (I hope you had your mask on!). :)
All the basic needs.
I wonder what that one in the upper corner is...looks kind of like a sink?

Neat find. :) More evidence of real people with real needs. :)
It's a soap dispencer! Weren't we talking about all the basic needs?
Man that must be old to have cigarettes on there.
Guy in the wheelchair looks like he's bowling.
I'd guess the one in the upper corner is bathroom. This chart was used when patient's were unable to speak. You held it up and the patient pointed to what they needed. I remember using one, in ICU, with a patient on a ventilator.
I wonder how old that is. I hate all that mold, bad to breathe it
Claudia, that makes perfect sense, thanks!
Flash cards like this are still used today, at least in England. Although they tend to be decks with one picture per card. I've used them extensively with learning disabilities patients. Saves a lot of frustration for both the patient and the carer!
Claudia's comments beats my thought of a bingo card, yeah I know.
Felyne you are right! hahaha! Strike!
Ok, it took me a few minutes to figure this out; (I'm a little slow sometimes!)
The sign is hanging off the edge of a hole in the floor. I was wondering what that grey board underneath the sign was. The edge of the floor. For some reason, I missed it! Duh....
*puts finger on drugs* No gin and tonic?
wow look at the pill section and look at all the pills that are in that block
Either the guy in the wheelchair is bowling or flipping someone off...

HEYYY I'm rollin' heah (NY accent)

Oh, and by the way...
BINGO!

Sorry, couldn't resist...
*points* I WANT TO GO BOWLING!
GAD! I remember when you could smoke in a hospital, now they have signs outside, you can't smoke within 50 yards of a hospital! Smoking on busses, in grocery stores, restaurants. . all a thing of the past!
I remember when we could still smoke in Federal buildings. My boss smoked and I hated going into her office. I drew he a picture of a retractable "smokers dome" that would drop down around her while she smoked. Complete with microphone and speakers.
