This room seems much more weathered than the others. There is amost no paint left on the walls.

isnt it crazy how paint peels when then air is off in a building , ive seen it happen in a couple years

probably an electrical junction box , to connect all the wires coming into it from the conduits?

I'd like to think the white is peeling away to reveal the pretty blue color. A wonderful photo, Mr. Motts. Your site made me ask my mom about the days when she worked in a sanitarium. She didn't have too many freaky stories, though. :(

I LOVE this shot! I'd love it to be wallpaper! Did you say this alignment doesn't work well for wallpaper? That would be a shame.
