A Long Way Down

A Long Way Down

I suppose the structure that once stood on the foundation below reached up to this open doorway... perhaps it was an old coal elevator that unloaded it from a ship moored at the harbor.

What is in the upper left, are those two foundations as well? What are the odd bulls eye dots in the centre of the shot?
Look to be manhole covers.
These photos remind me of the old abandoned launch complexes on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station & Kennedy Space Center.
Oooooo! Kind of makes me feel queasy thinking about standing here to take this photo.
I don't like heights.
But this is still really nice.
Looking down you see the abandoned executive swimming pool area...................
I love the rust on that doorway...
Is it wrong that I'm adoring that neglected lot below? The asymmetrical nature in most of these shots rally make you think.
Thats a scary view. I wonder what happened to the door
watch that first step
I'll go with another building that was on that foundation. Now it's the high dive for the zombies.
EEEEK! Sorry...fear of heights....freaking out now. It is a nice shot, though. Now back away from the opening....
