I agree with Coco. How did the paper towels survive a fire?
Is it paper towel or possible where the lower part of the dispenser was? Maybe a plastic part that melted off, leaving the unburnt wall behind exposed.

Woah! I have this exact sink in my studio! (The same design, not that particular sink.) I think my studio was built in 1066 or somewhere around that time ..lol ;)

It doesn't seem that this bathroom could have been burned as the paper towel is sticking out of the dispenser. Or am I being too literal?
there is no fire damage on the white sink so id say smoke damage in this room at best, if that. there is no way the paper would survive a fire..
um i take that back. there is damage on the sink. very wierd this pic is...
