Inside the casthouse - where the liquid metal is poured out of the base of the furnace. This photo looks up at the ceiling; the narrow pipes were probably used as water coolers for the tuyeres - nozzles where hot gas is piped into the furnace.

So sad to see our past industrial greatness in an eternal sleep.
I cant believe this place has not already been picked clean of the piping and valves.Scrap prices have been throurh the roof.
