This was fascinating to me - I know nothing about steel mills and it amazes me what all is involved or was involved in this industry. Thanks Mr Motts! Awesome tour.
Thanks Motts!
Probably an overseas entity is quietly waiting in line to purchase such mills as to scrap all the metals for melt down to make steel for sale.

Thankyou Motts, once again amazing.
Amazing gallery of shots. It is so interesting to see things like this. It astonishes me how big a place like that is and also the fact that the place is built from what they produced there.
Many thanks Motts for the gallery.
You were an excellent tour guide!
Really awesome set, which inspired me to comment for the first time. I appreciate that you've taken the time to learn about steel mills and how they work. The explanations make your pictures all the better!
Almost every shot reminded me of Fritz Lang's 1942 classic "Metropolis" .
Thanks for the wonderful gallery! Both of my grandfathers worked here all their lives. Cool to see some of the spots they may have walked many years ago.
just like in texas ,everything is bigger in this gallery . I love it.

Beautiful pictures which are sad and humbling at the same time. This is a great American story which obviously has a terrible ending. Remember these pictures when you buy foreign and Chinese products. Dont let them kill our great country!
Thnx a bunch for engine house pics Motts! Great historical writeup too!

Nobody stole our lunch, 1042. We gave it away. See your elected official.
Thanks for another great gallery.
