Heart

Heart

The other trip to the hospital was during a snow storm, letting some beautiful diffused light into the old rooms and hallways.

The rose color... wow. Great work.
Loving the colors in this shot.
Don't think I would like my bedroom this color.
Is that a door?
How strange.
Ah, to know of the people who spent their nights upon this bed, and what dreams they may have endured...
Or all the people who were tied down to the bed. My uncle spent 2 years here and he sais it was hell, the things he saw other people going through. Also when i was 16 my ex-boyfriend was here more that once and he saw someone hang themselves. They even used to fire hose some of the patients down. I remember one time when I was visiting, this lady wanted a cigarette so I gave her one and when the gaurds saw her smoking they all tackled her down, it was awful, my ex told me she had her smoking privleges taken away for something she did. So many bad memories of this place they really were treated like animles.
Oh, if the souls in these vast, cavernous spaces could speak, just what would we learn? What tales of sadness & pain would be revealed? That's what goes through my mind as I look at these pictures....it draws you in to a mysterious past. I want to know more.
That bed makes me sad for some reason...

What nightmares were had by the person who had slept here all those many years ago??

I don't want to even TRY to imagine...
Seems that lighting couldn't be attained again if one tried for years. Truly beautiful.
