A closeup of the Connecticut state seal that was set into a large fireplace; I believe this was the last time I saw it before it was yanked out of the wall of the administration building.

I love CT, but I can't believe they just tore it out of the wall!!
Probably sitting in someones basement where nobody can see it. Would be better if everyone could see it in a nice seting,but Motts has preserved for all to admire.
You'll be happy to know the fireplace was taken out and placed in storage to keep it intact.
