The once-ornate copper clock tower appears to have been stripped quite thoroughly...

Wow two galleries! Awesome shot Motts.
Wow, I've lived 45 minutes away from this place for 40 years and never heard of it before. I must be living under a rock!
What a pic to start this gallery with! Would love to walk up this path and see this old clock tower. Thanks for the added treat tonight.
Two for one! Cool...
Motts your back,we missed you
What a treat! Thanx for the new galleries, Mr. Motts!
Looks like the opening for some horror move, very intimidating
Yippeee!
I've become a huge fan of this site. The past few weeks have been spent looking at all these galleries and now I can finally say, "Cool, a new gallery!"
Always great to see new galleries up Motts. What a shame these big beautiful buildings are sitting vacant. I do hope they are gonna use or restore some of them. If not what a shame.....It was probably very beautiful back in its heyday. Thanks for the historical pictures too Motts. I wish there where inside historial pictures. Maybe on those web sites you had listed. I'll have to check those out. Can't wait. Thanks so much....now onto the gallery!!!
What a waste of a building! That's a shame.
Your photography is stunning. I have turned others to this site. Thank you for sharing pictures of objects that will be gone in a few years.
My dad went through basic training at USNTC Bainbridge during World War II. Thanks Motts
I taught Math in 1963-1965 to Naval Prep Scool sailors. Those pics brought back a wave of good memories. It was a privilege to teach those highly motivated sailors who had aspirations to enter the US Naval Academy.
Beautiful picture :)
Just happened to come across this site. Like everything in life it wasn't by chance however. My father was in the Navy on this base and I left the base in 1972 when I graduated from high school. I haven't been back as I live in CA now. But the base and this place has always fascinated me and what it looked like now. Bainbridge was an erie place to be as a child. Even then many buildings were abandoned. The town of Port Deposit that this place is set in is also something from a movie. These buildings were magnificent then as are these pictures!
Can someone post an address, nearby address, or directions to this place or something. My friend would go wild if i gave him a location like this for his photography.
