I climbed up to the top floor, unpacked, and waited for the blue-tinted November dawn to rise over the hill.

JOY!!! A new gallery! And it promises to be as amazing as ever, what with 30-year abandonment to explore....

Thanks in advance!!! Off to imagine being there, where I cannot traverse myself..

Great to see a new gallery! Hi Debbie, Hope you come back.
sweet!
Love the colours in this, Motts.
I think I used to know a lady who had one of these (only with cushions) on her back porch..
Great shot! I love the way the light makes different colors on the wall.
Such an eerie blue!
Yaaay a lonly bench!
My first couch was Ethan Allen and it had the same frame, but orange cushions on the backs and seat area, obviously. It was pretty rad. My boyfriend at the times parents wedding present.
The blue vs warm light is absolutely fantastic. Even more so because it's natural light. I loooove this.
I don't think the bench is very old. My guess is 1950s. It appears to be early-American revival from the 50s-60s era, made of maple, and had semi-hard cushions on it. It looks like the finish has worn off but a light sanding and a refinish would make this as good as new.
numb bums
