Seems, like they never been used?!
What was the contents?
They look empty, maybe used for cough syrup that they would compound according to the patients needs.
Yes they were empty - these kinds of glassware were probably sterilized in an autoclave for re-use.
Wow even most of the cardboard is still intact! The post office can destroy a box in 3 days and this one is still pretty good after 30 years.
its like someone opened the box and then they just closed the building. Makes you wonder why these were never used
Maybe they ran out of medicine
Toot, you are a hoot! ;D
Yeah that box is in great condition for 30+ yrs now. Even the bottles too. Wow if it was something from today it probably wouldn't last as well even......I agree with Dawn Michelle...Toot you are a hoot and cool too!!! I always love reading your comments & Lynne's too....wheres Lynne at??
this is a fun picture and the comments are fun too. I wonder how that cardboard survived all those years too.
In the "old" days cough syrup would be purchased by the hospital in large quantities. The pharmacy then filled and labeled bottles like these for the specific patient for whom it was ordered.
Thanks Blue lamp! I think Lynne is busy with life...I sure do miss her!
How much is left? The old stuff was a lot better than what they have now!!!
"The old stuff was a lot better than what they have now!!!"

Don't know about that... they're all dead.
Why would they just be left there. I don't ge it. How old is the hospital? When was it abandoned?
They were probably just put in their for storage and then forgotten about.
looks like milk of magnesia
looks like fingerprints on one bottle
