I want to switch it on to see what happens.
Do you wear any protective clothing? Mask? Looks like lots of dust and dirt, never know where the asbestos will be.
I wear a mask in dry and dusty tunnels or confined spaces, and also in places riddled with mold spores in the air. Most of the dust here is plaster that has crumbled from the ceilings.
That's an incredibly thick layer of dust on the floor. Amazing shot!

My first thought was some sort of ancient x-ray device, also.
The floor looks like a giant sandbox. Maybe a portable xray machine?
Glad to hear you wear a mask when you are in a bad inviroment.
Yipeys!
Loooks like a real mess in there
If you look closely, you will see that it is a giant drill for boring holes in skulls...
Motts, as a long time lurker here i have to say this are outstanding pics. way to go.
why did I think it was some type of electric shock machine ...
WALL-E!!

Or Johnny 5 from Short Circuit.

Seriously, I can't be the only one who sees this...
To contribute something productive-

Given it's a TB hospital, the most logical guess would be that it's a mobile chest X-Ray.
I THINK THATS A DENTAL X RAY MACHINE YOU KNOW THE PATIENTS COULDNT LEAVE THE PROPERTY SO THEY PROBABLY HAD THIER OWN DENTAL STUFF IN THERE.
the voice reading your comment just yelled it in my head lol but yes brandon i'm pretty sure you are correct. i know my dental equipment and this definitely resembles that of an old dental x-ray machine
