Oh now that's Wallpaper worthy.
The layout of the TB hospitals was always so cool - big airy places that opened onto porches. To think that an antibiotic replaced all of this.
I would be willing to accept this room as my bedroom.

Lets see, closet, closet, office, open air shower, and harum.
Take a lot of cleaning to make it a bedroom.
I love this shot. It shows just how large a space it was.
Bedroom? Looks like you could build a whole house in that space
all the windows and the architecture of this place make it strangely interesting.
Like VNJ, I'm just amazed at all the intact windows in this place!
"To think that an antibiotic replaced all of this."

After sitting in this room for half an hour, you would NEED some extra strength antibiotics.
Actually-wouldn't it have been a vaccine that replaced it? I wonder what the heating bills would have been like in this place with all the large windows...
With places like this, have you ever come across squatters ? I'd imagine that such wide open spaces with rooms off to the side that are much smaller, would be ideal?
Usually only in inner-city places with easy access to get inside the building; this particular hospital had a bit of an aggressive security force, so it wasn't a viable home for anyone.
