Yay! A new Gallery! Love the history you collected on this one Motts. 1st pic is lovely with the scrolling rod iron balcony!
Don't think I would even consider standing on it?
well I was going to go to bed...oh well
Yes !
New gallery to check out.
Awesome iron work!
Beauty!! This seemed the perfect, idyllic setting for a restorative sanatorium. Even now, as a moldering hulk lounging upon the hill, the building still speaks of tranquility, calm and natural grace.
Usually this kind of stuff has disappeared lon ago, supprisingly its still here.
10th!!!

Excellent backstory, Thanks!
What beautiful wrought iron work! I really enjoyed the vintage pictures...so nice to compare the "then" and "now".
Oooh a new gallery!! Love it Thanks Motts!!

I haven't been back to Dansville, but I believe the building is still extant.
What beautiful ironwork.
Fabulous perspective showing the balcony in all its beauty.
As of a week ago, the building was still standing, but it's crumbling.
The episode of Off Limits showing this wonderful old edifice is scheduled to air on the Travel Channel on monday, June 27th at 9PM Eastern time.I'm certainly looking forward to seeing it!
