nice
The ceiling looks like its made of stone.
I love the red and green tones and the shadows growing in that corner.
Utter desolation.
Strangely beautiful though.
Arches... rounded brick ceilings... lovely!
Something about this room I absolutely love. Even with the sinking floor and no window, I still find it mesmerizing. What I don't get are the ceilings. Are they brick and if so how on earth did they do that? I've never seen brick ceilings before. And yet, I can't see this room with anything else but. PS - thanks for a wonderful new gallery.
Yes, most of the ceilings were barrel vaulted brick - http://www.contractort...gh-17974/#post192002
Wow, waiting to see if any of the vaulted ceilings have collapsed in a hefty rain of bricks....
Those ceilings are fantastic. Everything about this room is perfect...from the lighting to the floors, perfect shot.
lovely shot
*GASP* Something's opening the door! RUN!! (hahahahaha)
Looks like a perfect place to sit and contemplate. Apparently a great locaton for a "health resort". A great escape.
I'd be afraid to walk in there. I'd get a brick on my head.
Stunning workmanship on the brick vaulted ceiling. That floor looks mighty boogerly. I'm surprised the decay is this advanced. I'm sure that open window letting the rain/snow in has a lot to do with it.
Would have been a room with such a beautiful view...
That floor definitely looks unsafe. Glad I can see it without having to chance falling through.
The inside of a crematorium oven looks just like this! Vaulted brick ceilings.

Floor, walls and ceilings all made of brick.
No wonder they called it the castle on the hill.
I wish I could have heard the collapse. Anybody agree? It would have been a little exciting, (providing we were well away) don't you think?
