Hot Seat

Hot Seat

Someone dragged this chair into the leaky operating theater, making it look more like an interrogation room.

A Freaky abandoned chair!
Doubles as an electric chair if the lights don't like your answer.

well it sort of means to ascribe human qualities to
non human things or other living creatures.
Like to say your car is always cranky on a winter's morning.
Another would be to assign human motivations or feelings
to pets.
I do it all the time with my cat. :)
A D~ I love it! I do the same thing! (especially to my dear Cat Boo!) thanks for the explanation! I learned something new today!!!! :)
Cop: Mr. Jacobs, did you, or did you not, set a bomb in times square?

Mr. Jacobs: you ain't getting nothing from me

Cop: Fine. you are under arest.

Mr. Jacobs: Imperilist pig!

This is the lobotomy chair. Quick and easy service by Icepick Wally.
sorry, two R's in arrest
No soap dispenser jokes? :( Been a long time since I've been here, I'm guessing most of the old regulars are gone...
...were those actually green light bulbs?? I know green counteracts red, but isn't that a little overboard?
Looks like they're getting ready to examine the chair.
Cop: OK Flipsy...we KNOW you had something to do with the soap dispenser theft

Flipsy: I know NOTHING sir

Cop: Yeah...well then what is with all those SUDS on your hands??

HAH!!!

I think my brain is melting...
Wow poor little chair seems so innnocent but thats the ones that you have to look out for!
Did older hospitals have windows in their operating rooms? I've never seen windows in modern OR's.
Old hospitals did have large windows in the operating room, especially before electricity became a standard... I feel that this hospital (built in 1921) would be far beyond that era though. Perhaps the room was not originally intended as an O.R., or the room wasn't an O.R. at all...
I work in a old hospital - 1870's . It's almost all empty now but the OR had windows in every room which were used up until 8 years ago.
