Calling Dr.Motts STAT
seems like the Duty Nurse could walk into frame any moment.
Being the computer person I am I get saddened when I see old computers lying around. I want to take them home, boot them up and see what's what.
That's an OLLLLD CRT monitor! If this place closed in the mid-90s, it's probable that this was just the monochrome green-on-black display. Dig that monstrous keyboard. That thing is twice the size of my son's laptop!

I would LOVE to have had the shelving installed there in the back of the admittance area.
I can't believe that they left the computer behind-someone could have used it at the time-again, my old, Great Depression Era values! : )
Checking in??????? :)
Can it still play PONG I wonder? (the computer, that is) ?
Ooh shiny new computer
"Welcome to the Hotel Philadelphia, what a nice surprise! You can check in but you can NEVER leave" (ode to a well-known song)
there's plenty of room at the Hotel Philadelphia.
from the era and it being a hospital it is probably just a dumb terminal talking (in all likely hood) to a mainframe.
"Mirrors on the ceiling, and champaigne on ice......." The Hotel Philadelphia...... ( what a nice surprise!) :) I'm slap-happy today.
Paging Dr. McSteamy!
hey Dr. McSteamy would be AWESOME!
what a waste, they could turns this into a homelss shelter, or a youth center
Dr. Fine Dr. Howard Dr. Fine
Dawn Michelle, you beat me to it!
Wow, this place seems to be relatively intact.
I'm gonna fix that computer
They even left the computers... I'd take it if I lived there.
This place was in remarkable condition. I wonder if the power was still on at the time these pics were taken. A functioning HVAC system would slow decay.
This makes me so sad for some odd reason...like the shadows and ghosts of people past...it seems as though someone will walk hrough those doors and sit at that (ancient!) computer any time now. I can almost hear the echos of the patients and doctors and nurses...

This picture depresses me more than any I've seen today. Hmmph.
/dev/ttys20 (at least)
LOL Nurse hatchet dosent even respond to being paiged...... she jsut sits and plays tetris :)
