Trails

This sticky dark orange-red liquid had the consistency of syrup; I've come across it in a number of hospitals but haven't found the source as of yet. Perhaps it is an industrial disinfectant, in concentrated form?

How strangely appropriate.
Did it have any distinetive odor to it Motts? Might be a clue.
whatever it is, it's GROSS
Theres been a major oil spill on the ward! Calling clean-up crew! :)
Looks like a body was deagged out of the room.... I Like the boot prints.
Maybe it is some sort of industrial strength Pine-Sol or something, although one would think it'd still have an odor. Perhaps it's a combination of water running down through the walls, collecting rust and other decomposing textile and building substances, varnish from doors, rotting ceiling panels and wiring, just a combination of stuff.

I am TOTALLY guessing here. It could be ectoplasm for all I know. XD
gross
It looks like benadine!
boatload of Iodine?
a zombie did that im convinced
Looks like it leaked down from the ceiling above, could be from leak in the tar-roof maybe? (Or perhaps something MORE sinister? Like the blood of 1000 zombies standing on the roof?!!!! Yes , Nick i think it could be!)
Looks like Betadine to me. The old scrub liquid.
Yeah - I agree with Laureld - looks like betadine.
Yeah thats betadine. I remember when I had a tick removed from my foot . The nurse that pulled it off used betadine as a disenfectant. It has a very memerable odor about it . Did it smell like anything Motts?
How many shots were fired???
I wouldn't think it would be Betadine. I think Motts would be able to find that source pretty quickly. I'd think it would be some type of rust in suspension. Possibly leaking stagnant rusty water in the pipes mixing with a tile or wallpaper adhesive?
whats it taste like?
It kind of looks like that disinfectant that they rub on whichever part of the body they're about to operate on.
It could also be from a broken pipe that has old water in it. Im not sure they would be able to leave behind and liquids with the current laws.
Chief Custodian: "Okay, who spilled the PineSol!?"
I wonder if it is eating away at that person's boots
i say it's soap from a soap dispenser on the roof of course.
I'm going with the zombie juice theory. Zombies were feeding there.
Sorry! I couldn't find the bathroom.... and I JUST COULDN'T HOLD IT ANYMORE!=( I'm REALLY sorry. >< IT won't happen again.
Looks like blood
Happy trails...ergh.

Also I agree with ginberry. :)
iodine or betadine.
looks like the stuff they put on your skin before they operate on you, well they put it on here in england don't know about in the us.
Could it possibly be some kind of transmission fluid?
Okay can I just say eww? Where's the crew from Session 9 to clean it up when you need them?
Wet clean up, aisle 4!
I dare you to lick it.
Uh..I would HOPE it is disinfectant (though I couldn't imagine it still being there after all this time) or rusty water rather than the alternative...

Eeeeee...

I NEED BRAAAAAAAAAAAAINS...
for sure it is betadine used to scrub skin before surgery some procedures and we used it for wound cleaning at one time but have better stuff now
blood bath in burbank
EPIC! I know a lot of people have probably said this but it looks like blood
It's most likely a disinfectant similar to Amphyl - that's what I have always used in hospitals and labs for infectious cleanups. It has a distinct smell, almost like dank rotten wood.
o.o kinda reminds me of fermenting blood but i think an industrial disinfectant makes more sense :P
