Continuous Bath

Continuous Bath

The studs along the sides of this tub were interesting; perhaps they were used to secure a canvas over the top.

Studded sides are interesting as well as the color! Saw one the same color on the side of the road at a reglazing Co. months ago, how weird!
Bet your right about the canvas. Bubble gum pink tub - strange.
I love the colors here
that doesn't look at all inviting.
creepy shot
I love it. :)
What was right over it on the next floor up or was it the roof,Motts Some times in buildings like this all the bathes are in line for easy plumbing.
This is the most sinister looking tub I ever saw. If I was the kind that took baths, seeing this would put and end to that and I would definitely switch to showers!
It look's like the bath tub came crashing in from the top floor
can just imagine someone being covered in the canvas as they are dunked into ice cold water and ice cubes
- Joe
wow, that's disturbing.
don't get me wrong, I wish I thought of it first. :)
Hydro-therapy was a popular option years ago. It didn't always mean ice-cold water. Sometimes it was tepid or warm, and the resident was put in there with a cover securing them with only their heads peeking out.
Is that a two way mirror near the door?
Cool,I love the Pepto-Bismo Pink tub! Rather strange.....
I wonder why the ceiling is falling apart, everyhting else looks solid. Miss you debbie
the floor is very interesting...
Hi! JackieB! I miss you to. Where have you been.
MMMM with a little work you could make it , well more colorful

stripes of pink, orange , indigo blue on the floor and walls

TP 2010 - its been 2 years !
I never saw a "1"X"2" tile used on a floor before
This took me by surprise after seeing the pristine condition of the other pics. It looks like the Western Center has not escaped urban decay. What was behind those stainless steel doors on the wall?
The stainless cabinet held the temperature controls and readouts for the bath water.
Ooooo pink tub! I want one! Just not full of plaster dust and asbestos please.
Cant imagine what it was like sitting in there.... Pink Tub? *I hate pink*
