Ward's End

Ward's End

At the very top floor, in the corners of the building, sat a group of what appeared to be seclusion / secure rooms, judging by the thick doors and observation windows. These rooms were sectioned off from the rest of the hallway with another large door.

Very nice photograph. I'm surprised at the fact that no idiot has trashed this place yet. It seems like it was just closed down very recently. Good job Mister Motts.
Yea! Motts is back with a new gallery for us to enjoy and comment on. Lets get started! ...... So still, cold and lonely!
Coolness - new gallery! Excellent write up on the place.
This does look cold and lonely.
Very cool, new gallery. It so clean.
This doesn't look like a very friendly place at all?
Very surreal. And scary!
Motts another wonderful gallery to see. Thanks Motts.
Perfect way to end a week, with a new gallery. Thank you!!
when places are abandoned and clean they are weirder somehow
such a cold and lonely place
The buttons on the sides of the doors freak me out a little... Very Manhunt 2
so cool, even though i am acessing this site from my PSP
boy 10x better than building seven in kings park hahaha, that building is frigggin wrecked, but i went to the tip top, see all of LI , really cool
Actually it is more like Wards Beginning, Motts! :)
Amazing how clean this is. Even though it was closed fairly recently I thought it would look worse than it does.
likesssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a few relatives that worked here immediately prior to it's shut down. The place seemed to invoke a feeling of dread long before the abandonment of all the buildings, and it carried the strong feeling of an unknown past in every room, around every corner.
Very nice shot. I'm surprised at how clean it is.
This is awesome. I was just thinking that it would be sweet seeing a Western Center album on here, and BAM! there it was! sweeeet!
i'm just going to post this on the first picture, but the main administrative building is scheduled to be demolished this upcoming spring (2012). This is the only building i've been so facinated in and find it a real shame to rip down. It was orginially never to be sold commercially and was meant for the public...too bad people ignored that :(
