I have to admit I like that sign. Yes I have a sick sense of humor but that sign is just so darn funny. Great shot.
I like the sign too! and, I agree with it!
House, lol I can see where you got the user name. I love watching House on Monday nights!!

Motts, I have to say like this sign as well and for it to be left out in plain sight like that is awesome! Nice shot!!
This is brilliant - great shot I love the background to it.
This is so sad, I belive it's a young kid that wrote that, And that the kid really loved his father.

This is my first comment on this side, I have been looking at your gallerys for a couple of monts, and i really love looking at this site. Thank you Mr. Motts for sharing with us! You inspired me to start taking photos myself. I have started to taking fotos in the forest.

Sorry for my bad english!
How sad.
I wish I knew the circumstances of it's authoring.
PS:
I cant wait to see a new gallery Mr. Motts!

Former known as Norgegian Man
The wording on that sign has been around for a long time. There are references to it on Goggle as far back as 2003.
I saw this in a FWD i received recently. I didn't keep forwarding it, didn't think it was right.
Bumper sticker material, right there!
It's a SNL reference to Deep Thoughts with Jack Handey.
I like this I have no fear of death but I would definitely prefer to go peacefully God willing. Also this would be a good posting on postsecret.com
NICE, i like it!!!!!
gotta laugh! :))
Wow. I am surprised by how many people don't seem to understand that this sign is supposed to be taken humorously. I can excuse "Norgegian Man" man, as English is not his first language, and the meaning may be lost to him to some degree, and the rest of you guys who understand that it is supposed to be funny but don't find it so.
Thanks, Dylan and Neariel. You got it just right. It's sarcastic humor, not a note from some poor child wishing for death, or whatever. It was originally from SNL. If you don't think it's funny, move along, but don't read so much into it.
Creepy. Like something out of a film noir. Good use of black/white.
in that place you need a laugh now and then
Seriously people! Lighten up...it's a joke that Grandpa fell asleep peacefully at the wheel while everyone in the car was screaming...it's called sarcasm....or bete noir. Unless, of course you have personal experience with this sort of thing...then, my apologies...;-)
This was not written by "some young child--thinking of his father"
It's been around for years, as a joke...And most people think that it's
funny...Come on, do we really have to read so much into it ??
Lighten up....Laugh a little..You'll feel better !!!
New Facebook status ;)

Norvegian Man; it's a joke.

If you don't laugh, you'll just cry.
I think whats funnier than the sign is tt people didnt understand it was a joke in the first place................Im not the sharpest crayon in the box.and im blond on top of it but seriously
that is horrible
How darkly funny! I get it! :)
Lawl. I know that joke <:

*sigh* Gotta love dark humor... <:
Yes, Cynder. Love light humor, but ah, sometimes I love the dark too! :D
i really like it! really good sens of humour!
Canada, post secret was my first thought too!
My father says this all the time.
My fiance should get a kick out this. I'll have to write it down for him. It made me giggle but I kind of felt bad, but since it is a joke I feel better.
Bwahahaahhaahaha!! I may have to share this with some people.
I heard an SNL ref. SNL! i love that show! about time two of my favorite things collides: SNL and Abandoned places
This is a hallmark card.... lol
