Ring

Ring

This hopper, used to wash out various body parts during an autopsy, was incredibly foul looking at first sight - but the cracks and stains leading into this grotesque hole were quite mesmerizing, and maybe even beautiful.

Foul looking! you said it! Gross! Can you just imagine what all went down that hole!!!?? Does however make a quite interesting pic and topic for conversation!
This image is a paradox for me - I love the colors...but not what I suspect made the colors in the first place.
oh my god....
I feel sick just looking at it.
I'll keep an eye out for you!!!
Gives it a mosaic look.
to be a fly on the wall looking down while that thing was being used....
That made the old stomach do a couple flips.
Watch Dr. G - you will see what it was used for...
Vannacutt anyone?
So much for sleep tonight!
I had a bathroom sink that looked like that, needless to say I moved!!
Only one thing to say here....

D . N . A
Hank....lol maybe there was an eye 'out' and down that hole
I'd like to hope its just mould and rust
It kind of looks like a wedding band.
Go Motts!!!!!
how much DNA is in those cracks! ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Beautiful Motts..almost like an old mans eye of the morge thats seen everything in that room since the first day the doors opened to the last day they closed years and years of deaths...but also only you would think to take a picture of something so simple and turn it into a work of art.Beautiful..you really need to think about publishing a book with your work ...you would sell alot of books thats for sure.I know I would buy it.
Wallpaper???? Would be so Cool.
Sphincter-iffic?
gross and creepy
Not very appetizing! But great work, Mr. Motts, nonetheless!
Not what I needed to see after having a plate of leftover spaghetti.LOL)
this... is wrong... this gives me shivers
Okay now that is a creepy shot. It looks like a huge eye staring unblinkingly at all that stares at it.
Perhaps the cracks would look cool to me if I didn't know it was used to wash body parts. Ewwwwwwwww.
all those residents that died and their body parts ended up here and we are sitting here saying: oh how beautiful. we are all truly messed up.
I'll do the washing you can do the drying!
Looks like there's something still in the drain. But it does have an "antiquew" look to it. A well "loved" sink.
Wow...glad I finished my bowl of New England Clam Chowder several pictures back...

Can you imagine putting your finger in that hole?

OH...MY...GAWWWWD. Ick. Ew. Gross.
Kind of looks like a satilite photo of a nucliar explosion in the middle of a mid size urban city
a bottle of clorox would help
Makes me think of the sehower scene from 'Psycho', Then again, ever since we watched it, I have never been able to look at showers the same way again.
This actually inspired a drawing of mine. I was thinking about all the people talking about DNA and i thought " What if someone took all that DNA and made a new person?" and drew a girl stepping out of an autopsy shower, just like this! Great job!
I completely agree. Beautiful.
"We float down here, we all float..." lol. Sorry, I couldn't resist, its the first thing that popped into my head when I looked at this picture. Motts, my mom and I love your pictures, great job with all of them and keep it up, we love looking!
There were never any autopsies done on grounds. I really wish u had spoken with some of us employees before u jumped to your own twisted conclusions of Western I was a nurse there for 25 yrs. - much of this info is incorrect as far as the pic. notes. So sad that the truth was not told.
looks like a butthole
