I love basements. Basements and attics are two of my favorite places to explore. Mostly because that's where they would usually shove unused or old items.

Some basement rooms looked to have been used for storage and even for showers; the chicken wire could have been used to create a wall or partition cheaply and easily.

Looks like someone was sitting in that chair, cooling their heels and biding their time. Lots of lonely chairs in this hospital.
