Amazing that the light fixtures (or soap dispensers) are still intact. Not only that, but they hadn't been replaced with fluorescent's and miles of conduit.

Dang Mike, I didn't even notice that.

It's been kinda sad how many of the older buildings on this site do have the brutalist 70's florescent lighting rudely crammed into them.

The lights are still chain pulls! So much better than fluorescent. The gurney looks to be webbed, not solid bottom.

Unique material on the chair to the right, Drapery, perhaps? and, that pinkish splotch on the wall to the left reminds me of a horse and rider galloping away.

No lonesome chairs in this picture,and I don't think the lights are pull chains, think they must of had something strung up on those two wires hang down. I could be wrong as I was wrong last year.

There is a pull coming from each light tho... you can even see the ones on the far side.

Looks like this room had rows of beds down each side, with the individual
light for each bed. It IS amazing that the glass bulbs are still intact.
They look like 30's or 40's. What style the old stuff had!

I've seen those same fixtures on eBay for $100's. I'm struck at this location's lack of vandalism. Really nice for a change.

That fabric looks straight from the 1960s! Nice! I think my mom had some fabric like that in her attic when I was a kid. We used to go up there and explore all the time. :)

And THOSE SOAP DISPENSERS ARE COOL! (The lights.)

I can't believe they are still chain-pull lights! Fascinating!
