What looked like a movable generator, housed in a very old cart. The caging might have been for safety reasons due to hot or moving parts.

So, this would be for the electric shock therapy?
Looks like it runs on train tracks. You do find the neatest things.
Amazing find! and, did you get a look at the paperwork on the floor?
There was so much to see both in the huge campus and all that was crammed into these basement rooms, not leaving much time for anything else.
That cart is awesome.
The wheels really stand out.
Love the metal caster on the cart.
I wonder if they locked the bad people up in that cart
Anything that ran on a track would have flanges on the wheels to keep on the track. also cage would be to keep anyone from getting shocked or worse when it was running.
Can you imagine going down one of the long hallways in this cart?
