So gorgeous! And not all graffiti and torn up!
There was an audience Motts - you were there.
A little clean up and paint and it looks like it would be back in service.

Wow - this one sent a rampaging shiver up my spine! What an incredible place...**goes off to gaze some more...**

Motts,How do you do it, just perfect
I think my chin just hit my keyboard! I think this may just be my knew favorite photo on this sight!

Motts I'm begging you please oh pretty please with a cherry onto make this into a wallpaper!
in canada were i am from, finding buildings like this is impossible they all get torn down and a tim hortins is built on the site
LOL now that is sooooo true Dean! There really are far and few between abandoned places here.

There are a lot of barns and rusting cars in Alberta and Saskatewan but there just not the same. I live in BC so there really is not a heck of a lot of abandoned places to shoot here.

And just for the record I don't like Tim Hortons... I don't drink coffee.
This must have been so beautiful back in it's heyday...not that it's not beautiful now. It's just beautiful in a different way.
The word 'vertigo' comes to mind...
Really, really gorgeous! It really is a shame that these incredible things get left behind!
WALLPAPER! anyone!?
I'm ready for the show to start, anyone else?
Stunning! There doesn't seem to be any vandalism there, and that is unusual. I too, call for WALLPAPER!
absolute need for a walpaper on this one! this Autidorium is Gorgeous im a huge Stage Crew guy... and if i could just have ten min in here i my life would be complete!
I can picture myself on the stage, performing ballet and doing my pirouettes across the stage, then disappearing into a mysterious mist...
Green Slime oozing form the walls on the far left and right.
wow!!! How does it make you feel Mott's when youre in these places? Does the state of the surroundings effect youre own state? ect
Kind of creepy looking....It looks so big. Sends shivers up my spine to think of patients sitting there watching whatever they watched there.
Too bad since this picture someone spray painted "caveman" on the certain and torn the center of it =/ I hate it when people ruin these places for others but this is such a great shot =p.
Some people want to "ruin" the more majestic scenes found in these places, although the reasoning escapes me.
I always have a feeling that you're not the only one in places like this. Do you ever get the sense that these places are haunted?
They very well could be, but I haven't experienced anything that would lead me to believe it.
Holy cow. I expect to hear singing, just looking at this. Wow.
Breathtaking. An important point made here about graffiti/vandalism. One of the buildings I shot here in my hometown was an old dairy; a gorgeous, hulking mess of rotting warehouse with a now-rusted top-to-bottom 30ft. milk bottle standing atop it. This building hadn't been used as the dairy since the early 60s, and I have no idea why it stayed as was but I was grateful... to me, it was beautiful, and I used to smile up at that thing every time I drove by. USED to. Damn glad I got my shots off before some yammerhead found his way up there to "tag" the entire circumference of the bottle with whatever-it-says. Sigh.
Its is amazing and i would love to know what it was like to expirience a play or act in this theater....its like a trip in time...bravo! motts...you get a standing ovasion!
