Ha! K-Mart blue light special! Love the tin ceiling tho.
Love the tin ceiling squares , but that blue bulb makes the shot!
Adding a touch of blue to a photo can really make it come to life....
why blue?
That must have made for one creepy glow when it was turned on.

The perspective here is wonderful!
i wish we could see what it did to the tiles when turned on.
its the blue light of Jesus
Great shot,Motts
For some reason I find that damned bulb disturbing.
It just should not be there.......
Gotta love those tiles, though. They hang tough even with the decay.
At least it isn't a red light.....
thats odd....that is why blue ?? not very much light for a room that size must have had alot of shadows in there ...
well... thats an inconvenient place to put a Soap dispenser :/
The detail is absolutely incredible. Blows my mind. Imagine what a ceiling like that would cost these days haha.
Possible indicator for a "Code Blue" situation indicating someone is having a heart attack? Just Sayin'.
Beautiful!
Blue because it probably soothed the mental defectives.
The blue light is thought to keep a mental patient calm. we use them in the back of ambulances. If you ever see the back of an ambulance glowing blue, there is a mental patient inside. Usually transporting a suicidal patient.
Cool, thanks for the info.
A little random I think
the bulb.... Why is blue calming?
Wow I never knew that about blue lights in ambulances-now I will be watching for one!
I've been a paramedic for 34 years & never used blue lights in the patient compartments. The lights were adjustable in brightness but always white. A blue light would make patient assessment difficult.
