So odd to see no graffiti, the alter isn't tipped over and the stained glass is intact. What a rare find! Are they preserving the chapel or is it slated for demolition?
I would love to visit this before life destroys it....
This would have been nice to see in colour, I love stained glass it's practically none existent today.
I haven't heard much news about redevelopment since the Kirkbride burned. The plans are to develop the site into a residential and commercial community, and to save a number of buildings, but I'm not sure which ones in particular.
Awesome shot, great that there is no damage
It would be a shame to let this go to the dumpster
I love the shadow coming off of the cross and the use of black and white. A VERY powerful photo
great play on shadows
nice job, like this pic,you caught it
I love that window! It's so nice to see people (aka vandals...) have left the chapel alone.
Oh what a beauty!
Wow, and the glass is still intact. I would have thought it'd be destroyed by now.
WOW, its still intact, amazing. HOPEFULLY the owners will be responsible and contact a local architectural salvage yard and let them remove the artifacts that won't be used should they develop or reuse the facility. If they reuse this I would think that they could work in the windows, etc. I'm always so curious about why things are left and then vandalized or destroyed, it seems like such a waste.

I love that you are doing this Mr.Motts God Bless you and watch over you!! I was telling my husband i hope someone saves these wanderfull parts in these buldings. It would be so sad for it all to go to waste. We need to save our history and art.
