A look inside the large conveyor that led to the ground. The floor looked solid, but after a tricky experience on one of these at another location, I decided to take the stairs.

Terrific light & shadow in this one.
I'm kind of relieved you took the stairs. What happened at the other place?
Funny, I was going to ask you if you went down that way as I would have been tempted to do so. ;)
that conveyor thingy is way bigger than i thought
I love the perspective of following that pipe and looking down, down, down toward the bottom. Wow.

You know we REALLY want to know now what happened at the other location. ;)
It was at an old coal-fed power plant of a similar height - I started walking down one of these and noticed some large holes in the floor a quarter of the way through... it's just a dumb way to die if the stairs are OK :-)
Great angle, love it!
Getting dead in dumb way people can win Darwin award. To bad they cant claim it. Best way is to not to do stupid things and stay alive.
