Bloodbath

Bloodbath

Some of the guys were pulling the slabs out, and one was filled with rusty red water. After yanking it out, the juice spilled out all over the floor, and looked really cool, so we duplicated the event. My camera was slow and sucky, but Drew snapped this great picture.

No use crying over spilled blood .
i have a video of us doing that... after its spills all you hear is "ugggghhhh ewww ooo god hahaaa"
*THUD~!*
WOW that is an amazing pic! Now if only it was REALLY blood and there was some dramatic story behind it!
Great shot Drew....even if you were not trying. Brilliant and creepy!
Great pic caught perfict, really scary, horrific, frightening to me any way, can just imagine being there Gushing noises as well.
EEW, EEW, and EEW!!! I can't imagine the stench, and I certainly wouldn't want any of this water getting on me!!!

But besides that, its a very cool shot ; )
hey Motts, is that rusted rain water, how did it get in there..?
i was there recently... (10/05) and that lovely tray is filled with more rust water... the morgue is so beyond trashed and there are no more viles and beakers... so sad
pure gore holocaust...i love it.......
looks something like its out of a movie
is that real blood or rusty water?
Rusty water. Mr. Motts stated it under the picture.
Holy Fuck!!! is that a styrofoam cup in there!?
I belive so.
Hmmm....who spiked the punch?
I went there last week. The rustwater is still there. no cup... but a decaying battery. There were some stairs that lead to a lower level right near the morgue. but when we went, it was raining really hard and there had been a 10 day rain shower that flooded it up to our knees... Kind of funny. my friend Aaron and Julia and I didn't want to go into the water. Aaron and I look at eachother and I said "Fuck that" And the girl Julia we were with actually went into the water with no shoes on. We got it all on film, but the lighting was bad, all we saw was a really long hallway with a freaky cage on one side and another hallway on the other. It looked freakier since it was under 3 feet of water. I really want to go back with Trashbags.
It looks so contrived and so unoriginal. Special effects, eh?
Eh, doesn't look like it to me.
What the hell it looks like blood. SWEET!!!
YO THIS SHYT IS OFF THE HOOK!! CRAZY AZZ SHYT! I LOVE IT
Translation: I must say that I am extremely enamoured with your photography! Such an unusual picture and such a unique theme! I am most appreciative of your artistic talent and I commend you for it.
Bravo!
Lynne, if you ever want to "transliate" the other way, try Gizoogle, it's good for a laugh.
I'm going to take a wild guess and say since the morgue was under the cafeteria, which was flooded, that this is the effect of water leaking through the floor?
u sure it isnt blood..hehehe
''WELCOME TO THE SLAUGHTER''
wow that is kinda gross, makes u think it is bloody water!! but wonderful shot
BLOODBATH FROM HELL !!!
Thanks for permanently scarring my psyche. ---You F-ing RULE!!!
it may not be blood but it could possibley have traces of bodliy fluids (not conciderlbly blood though)
no me gustaria terminar ahy
RIGHT ON BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD! Oh it is rusty water. I'm just a confused gothic person who worships Ozzy Osbourne.
nice pool .. wanna go for a swim??
ahahhahahahahha .. nice
I think this shows the past of the old northampton asylum it sooooooo cool I love it
HOLLA
my friends and i went there tonight....but we didnt get to go in. i would love to go in and see this stuff. its crazy to think of what it was like when it was up and running
hmmm id have o say theres traces of many subsistent liquids of embalming and stuff in that water probably Fermaldehide traces of any other Corerner fluids blood no bovut thats ages old from being caked to th emetal and washed off by many heavy rains along with rust but the entirety of the event of brownish bloody colored water sloshing out at you upon rolling out the morgue bed is soemwhat freeaky and the stairs you ppl depicted that was next to the morgue going downwards even more..id hate to see what lies down there ...and another note..a Morgue under a cafeteria..isnt that a bit of a coincidence..id say they fed them human for there lunchs...instead of bothering witrh burial.. "hey lets jsut chop these bodys up and say its beef" mmm beef..nobody would be the wiser
Actually, as far as I know, morgues are typically located close to cafeterias/kitchens to share the refrigeration system.
This pic kicks ass!!!!
greetings from Mexico
Why wre the locks on the doors?
Looks like it could be blood if you hadn't said it was rusty water. Bet the people who were working on deconstructing the place peed their pants when they saw the mess!!!
awesome blood bath shot ..
Well, I think that would make me want to leave, rust or not... eww. Ha ha.
Looks like human soup.
I think shots that capture motion in time are excellent, and of course a genre unto itself. You did a fine job.

You can recreate it but that moment will never exist again.
I bet that smelled like hell.
who wants a drink ?

awesome picture Drew .
(:
love the pic, fantastic dramatic image.
one word: AMAZING!
That's some creepy ass shit. Make sure you don't get some type of sickness going in there.
this one of the best pictures i have ever seen!
For a sec i thought it was real blood! Would of interesting if it was. Great shot, i'm jealous!
thats so sick!!
yummy.
^ Thats what I'm sayin. Is it seriously blood? Because that fucked up.
This is awesome!
I just love this picture, I've looked at it a million times but its just as awesome every time!
Im with you there! This shot is one unforgettable photo!
i had afriend who claimed to have spent several weeks mapping the entire hospital at NIGHT .HE said there is a long tunnel which gets smaller till he had to crawl on his belly several hundred claustrophobic feet further found a small room with a chair. That story has creeped me out ever since.
How did you duplicate the shot? Did you find more water somewhere, or pour some that you brought with you onto the slab? Great shot, I don't think it is contrived, and it takes a good eye to visualize the great shot and talent with a camera to catch the water falling without being out of focus. Great work Drew and also Motts. Drew can be proud of this one.
It was duplicated by pulling out the drawer adjacent to the one that was previously spilled... only these two had a considerable amount of water collecting in them.
That is awesome!
love this pic, it was really creepy to look at ,love it drew great job
