Tubes

Tubes

Inside the medical building, two large rooms were littered with retired equipment strewn across the dusty floor. Tangled hoses stretched outward from alien-looking masks; many of them were once contained in moldy boxes that could be carried like briefcases. These aspirator / respirator kits were mostly manufactured by Emerson.

Mr. Motts, if I were with you on this venture, I'm afraid you would have to drag me bodily from this room as I would have to check out each and every piece of equipment (and hopefully not catch anything). Fascinating!
Wonder what the little spikes did on that Jar?
That case is fantastic.
Strangely sinister looking. Fascinating shot though.
good call, Ferdy. I wanna know what the spikes are for too
Spikes on the jar? I'm guessing you mean the facemask in the center of the picture; The green spikes are part of the replaceable rubber face seal; They push through the "clear" part of the mask to hold it in place.
Ah, thanks Junkyardave!
You betcha!
Or the spikes are part of some kind of disciplinary torture device. Could ask the zombies in the building, but they pretty much just growl and bite.
If the tubes go into the glass jar, it looks like a suction machine. Our old ones had reuseable glass jars that you suctioned gunk into...now they are disposable plastic.
cool stuff!
wow lots of great info from pros... the case looks pretty fascinating... another great shot from mr. motts
