WHAT? No Turquoise? Mr. Motts, THANK YOIU for making my dreary day with a fantastic new gallery. Have you thought of some kind of sign up service where we could give out email and you can send a note when you have a new gallery? I usually stop by every day and hope but sometimes I just don't get time. Thank you, I really admire your work and your life.
Thanks; unfortunately I don't have an e-mail service, however you can use the RSS feed to stay updated. Click the "Stay updated via RSS feed" on the home page to choose a popular service, or pick your own after poking around on the net.

Also, most email clients read RSS feeds just like email (Outlook, Gmail, Thunderbird, etc). Just google your email client brand and the word "RSS" to see how to use it.

The URL for the feed is: http://www.opacity.us/feed/
Thank you 4 making my day
Mysterious indeed. Thank you for another fantastic gallery!
Motts, just when I think you could never outdo yourself and you turn around and do it! Thanks so very much for it all!
Fantastic set!
Thank you sir for the information, after I left this comment I did recall that RSS service. I think maybe I will just continue to stop by every day and look for a new gallery. If there isn't one, I look over the old ones. I've seen them two or three times each and every time I do, I see something I didn't see before. I truly admire you and your talent.
Thanks Mr. Motts for another wonderful Gallery to see. Keeping taking more Please.
Furthermore Mr. Motts if you ever get to upstate New York, specifically the Albany-Schenectady-Troy area drop me an email if you want a tour of some abondoned factories and other buildings. There are lots of them. Cohoes I believe at one time was the glove manufacturing center but they are all abondoned now. There is an old toilet paper factory in Albany, that building is HUGE and the last time I went by I noticed some grafitti so I'm sure it's a hangout now, especially since it's in kind of a derelict area where the other businesses that are left there all close at 5 o'clock and everyone splits. Amsterdam, Broadalbin and Wells also have a lot. I hope I'm not giving too much info here but I just wanted to let you know that me and my convertible are at your disposal.
Surprised to see yet another update from you my RSS feeds Motts! Loads of time in your hands this winter huh?
Great set. Thanks for posting!
Thanks eldokid! I just visited some places up that way this winter, there are definitely a few pretty neat spots around the capital
Maybe next time then. There definitely are and some are pretty secluded. I've driven around just for the heck of it and then all of a sudden this big abondoned complex is right there in front of me. Also, the Catskills are not far as you probably know and there is a TON of history there as well as abondoned stuff! And thank you for responding and talking to me, I don't mean to sound like an idiot, but I feel really honored now! I very much admire your work and wish I could have seen what you have seen. One more quick thought. My father was a photographer and when he died I inherited all his photographs and negatives, some are on glass or metal plates. He was known for taking shots of the city so I have boxes of Albany photos from the early days until about 1990. He took a lot of when they were tearing down sections of the city to build something like the "South Mall" as it was called then. Or if there was a fire, he was usually there photgraphing it. Anyway, I had planned to put all this on a website called OldAlbany but I just haven't had time yet. If you have any interest in looking at these to see what was where, let me know. I would be glad to share them with you.
Bye for now and thank you for sharing
I've spent the past 1.5 hours on your site...fascinating!!!!
Thanks again, Mr. Motts. Outstanding. I look SO forward to new galleries, and still spend hours in the other ones!
Thank you, Mr. Motts, for another beautiful album. It's no wonder you kept coming back to this place. :) Thanks again for sharing it.
Thank you for a gorgeous new album from this long-forgotten place. I love the way you're keeping history alive, in a way, by visiting these sites and sharing with us.
Thanks Motts for another great gallery! We really lose ourselves in these photographs, I can only imagine how fascinating it must be to actually walk there.
Another chiming in with thanks to you, Motts, for your time and talent. Amazing work once again...
Thank you for another amazing gallery Motts! Again, what a shame it's all gone but at least we can all see it thanks to you. You are incredibly talented and I am so happy you take the time to share your work with all of us!
What an absolute pleasure it was to look through those photographs! Wonderful set of pic's, thanks for sharing!
Great album! Really lightened my day! (Or night).
Please keep this stuff coming , I love it.
Young Motts,We have a few abandoned hospitals over here in New Zealand and me for one love this sort of thing as well, and am planning to do a photo shoot of one not too far from where I live.Have you ever thought of making a slide show with the appropriate music. There is some great music out there. You can play with feelings with a few minor chords here and there.Or even use songs done already,eg Led Zep.Thanx heaps for the inspiration bro.
Thank you for entertaining us and telling us the stories of these old buildings. At least they lived in brightly colored rooms. How sad to see it in such bad shape. Coming from Europe I don't understand why these buildings are left to rot and aren't reused. I don't think I will ever understand why.
Great job Motts as always! Keep um coming buddy, and please be safe
Thanks Motts, each gallery gets that bit more and more inspiring.
it feels like there is something around that corner waiting to be discoverd...
That confuees me for a bit, its so pretty
thank you mr. motts, for make a usual dreary wednesday a little better :) and a somewhat twisted reason to procrastinate on my schoolwork :]

P.S.- I recently heard of an abandoned hospital in Prince George's county, MD... but it's probably pretty vandalized, PG county is a rough area
theres a insane hospital near buffao,NY check it out somtimes.
