P.S i'm first lol!!
Interesting perspective on this.
Looks like hundreds of chairs!
i love the ripple effect
Beautiful flowing lines..they look in good shape too.
Lots of seating, but leg room is at a premium.
That's like the beach when the tide goes out..
I will take every single one of them
Symmetrical?
That's an amazing number of wooden chairs left to simply molder away.
The look as though they're connected.
The Kid, I was going to say the same thing. It almost looks like rows of colding chairs rather than individual ones.

Regardless, this is a cool picture!
wants
...and it turns out that even a velvet-upholstered one of those is a dime a dozen.
Kathy -

I wonder if maybe they're connected in rows of three or four, a bit like a folding bench, so the inmates wouldn't have a hard time lining them up when setting them out? Or something along those lines.
Hi Kid!

I agree, they definitely look as if three or four are connected. Maybe it made for speedy setup/cleanup. :)
i LOVE this shot...but it makes me feel a sense of loneliness. Who says one chair is lonely? all those empty seats...
Kathy-

That sounds even more likely...
My school should get some of those.. Every assembly we need to put out 700 chairs, but if they were in groups of 3 or 4... it would be much quicker to set up/take down.
Fabulous shot taken at just the right angle to get all the chair backs lined up. You have a great talent. I think this would be great for wallpaper. Wallpaper please.
@Of Mice and Ben, very clever. Good shot of boring wooden chairs
Love this!
