Gravel Path

Gravel Path

This path marks the rail line for the quenching car; the hot coke would be pushed out of the ovens on the right, and the car would proceed to the quench tower in the distance.

God, you can almost *smell* it. Lovely perspective.
Even from this distance the Tower in the Foreground looks pretty huge!
Realy looks different than the photos on the link that shows the coke being loaded.
it looks really creepy with the things on the sides and the big tower in the background
This place looks so alone, not sure why, probably because it looks so stretched out
the way this shot is taken it makes it look like its in the middle of a field or some thing
