Horrible? I think it's gorgeous! All they build nowdays is square-edged boxes, but the Northampton is pure art.

excellent black and white. The contrast between the aerial view and the verdent country side is quite ethereal and and realistic.

Motts! If I was your Mother I would drag you off the roof by your ear! I was working on a library with a slate roof when I lost my balance and slid down the side! If there hadn't been a landing not too far below I would not be here to leave comments! And that I'm sure would be a tragedy. Lol.

Makes me imagine a "guest" of the facility from years ago, somehow making his way up to the roof in an attempt to escape. Only to be faced with this.
A panoramic vista of stunning beauty that offers so much freedom & so many possibilities, but is forever out of reach. Because from here, there's only down, not out...

well if the guy is running to the roof to "escape" im sure he isnt tryign to "escape" by conventional means..i think hes contemplated death is the only option of "escape" and well down is his escape but thats jsut my way of seeing it.. but the veiw is amazing along with the good Structural art true nothigns made that way anymore...and its true we only make square edged boxes nowadays but...its cost effective and easier to build ..if you want a hhouse with Structural bueaty...your gunna need to buy th eland and a contractor and agood set of carpentors etc etc...

anyone trying to excape from this roof would eather be loony or have a death wish this hospital must have been a beautiful place at one time so gothic looking

Yeah, not only a creepy thing to say, but additionally insulting to those who like the name Luna. Yeah, everyone makes comments about groups of kids/animals acting up-"hmm, moon must be full" but I would hope that more of us would have more respect for the moon than that. ;)

I think you will find Northhampton is held in a higher regard than a lot of its peers, I dont think it was as terrible as some of the others
