How lush and green! Love the ivy and the woodwork on the stained glass window toward the back. Very nice Motts!
The old and the new!
Nature reclaiming what is hers...the colors and contrast are outstanding!
nature taking back what is hers

Beautiful pic - certain peace about it
Nice contrast in this photo
I have to say that Mr. Mott's photography goes FAR , FAR beyond merely "taking pictures". Everything he shoots is an artistic blend of light, color, contrast, composition, and evokes a great deal of feeling and emotion from his subjects. I guess that is the reason why this is one of my FAVORITE websites to frequently visit.

Thank you for providing us with many hours of pleasure, and thought -provoking viewing.
Oh yeah! Now that's a church I might attend on a regular basis. Well, 'cept when it rains and all. S'pose I could take a brolly, though.
sooo pretty
Reminds me of some of the photos of the town where the Chernobyl meltdown took place - nature has pretty much taken over all of the buildings, complete with trees growing up out of floors in offices.
Churches leave the most beautiful ruins, just look at the abbeys that were abandoned in England after the reformation. Sometimes it is hard to say which is more beautiful the intact churches or the ruins.
So peaceful. This place seems so at rest.
