Awesome set Motts.
I wish it still looked this good. We wanted to take one last trip though this past summer before it was supposed to be demolished and things have really gone down hill. Much more graffiti and stone deterioration.
It used to seem like a relatively safe place but on this last trip we found many shell casings and much more gang graffiti than seen on previous trips.
Thanks, man. Very nice.
Always a pleasure to see your latest photography! I wanted to personally thank you for always including an introduction as well as up to date info, & video when available. People of all ages enjoy your site, and its always a true visual and educational experience!
Another great site,Motts. You just get better and better

Wowza! This was an awesome site.
Great gallery Motts, i still check the site every day for new galleries.
your gallery is wonderful. Thank you ......
*tears* Like a faded, crumbling illustration.
That's totally cool the way the panarama distorts it tino looking kinda like the colosium in Rome.

Thanks again.
Totally Awsome Site to see. Thanks Mott's once again Wonderful Gallery to see.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful location with us! I can't imagine how stunning it was back in the day. Amazing.

At what time was this picture taken, Motts? Sky colour looks brilliant!
Keep up the awesome work Motts!
AMAZING!I Every time I see a place like this it always fires up my passion and drem to one day help restore these old bulidings.

HISTORIC PRESERVATION FTW!!!!!!!!!!
Wow.. what a gigantic structure. Crazy nothing's being done with it anymore. Thanks for the set, I really enjoyed it!
Thanks Motts for another great set of pictures
Thnx again for another great set! This is one of the major icons of Detroit atrophy. Instead of being treasured as the obvious jewel it is, it has been made the whipping boy of a frustrating economic drain. Oops.
This one is special, it almost feels someone is looking back at you from inside the crumbling building.. it's haunting. by the way can anyone see the shioo Lisa? or do you see something else?
This is an awesome set of photographs and an awesome structure. I have visited every abandoned building site I could find on the web and this site is by far my favorite. You have a great eye and a reverence for the places you explore which comes across in your galleries and the information you provide about these places. I look forward to seeing more of your work. I really wish you'd publish a coffee table size book of your photographs. I find them endlessly fascinating. Thank you for all the work you put into this site.
love it
very very cool (y)
This is just an incredible building. Wow.
I enjoyed this gallery more than I initially thought I would (I don't like the industry ones as much as the hospitals, usually). But this was definitely a hidden surprise! My grandparents were from Michigan and lived in Detroit at one point, right around when this was being built. Now I wonder if they had ever walked through it too...
Great pictures as always. Thanks for sharing. Really sad to see this decay.
I try to pass by this place every time I head through Detroit. Your photography really did bring out the interesting and beautiful aspects of such a tired building.
If the city does decide to take this building down I hope at least they try to salvage of all the beautiful architectural details it has. I just think its crazy that no one could find a new use for such an amazing building of this quality.
Happy New Everybody! JackieB Happy New Year to u. I miss u so so much. Where are u JackieB.
SUPERB PANO!!!!
Thanks Motts for the great gallery. I've been on this site since January 2006 (I think). I have to say this site gets better and better. I have also seen your work get better and better. You are amazing and keep up the great work.
the shot shows what mans wasteful hand is leaving to ruin.you are the doucumenter of these buildings Motts
I wonder if there are any photos of this building when it was new? great site Motts, you're a legend... i have a thing for abandoned buildings and cities :-)
