OOOOOO i am the first one to comment? lol another creepy shot!!
What a beautiful photo, your eyes travel up the stairwell onto the next level. Its interesting how the sunlight takes a place on the first couple of stairsteps like footprints!
Peely paint and stairs...doesn't get much better! The lighting is perfect.
Love it! Imagine what it looked like back in the day, the stairs are really cool and I love that window!
Very mysterious.
oh man..........that staircase! The wrought iron!!! Love it.
Lynne, is that you??? The legendary Lynne? lol It's great to see your name again. I asked about you on the forum.....How are you?
yes, I wonder too if it is the infamous Lynne. I want to say here and now that I have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge, information and respect for Lynne and what she does. Before I found this site and went through EACH AND EVERY GALLERY and read EVERY SINGLE comment (whew!) I never knew this type of thing existed (Urban Exploration) and I also had no clue what went on in mental hospitals. For all I have learned I thank you. I have a much greater respect for people with disabilities now. And as for Mr. Motts, I wish I knew him personally and could travel with him doing this. I would gladly be his personally assistant and carry him AND his equipment (I should rephrase that) just to be able to do go to these places and see what he has seen. Makes my life seem like a total waste.
Yes, it's jes' me. :-)
eldokid, very well put!
Lynne, thanks for all of your input, I have also learned so much from your posts! :-D
Very nice! Good to see you both Kathy and Lynne
my sentiments exactly Eldokid. ditto, ditto, ditto.............I can't remember LBO (life before opacity)
;)
Yep - Lynne's infamous 'rants' are partly the reason why I joined the forum! Great to see you around, Lynne - and many thanks for the info I've learnt from your posts!

'LBO'. I like that :)
Is that our MaryLynnie? We miss you. Motts this shot is fanTAStic!
Sweet shot!
Yeah, this is a nice shot of the staircase....love it Motts. Yeah, since I've been in the photo section at this site......I myself have loved reading Lynne's comments as well esp on the 'School for Girls'....whatever happend with that building Lynne. I appericate everyones comments here. This is a wonderful site. I just got to get on the Forum yet......I read alot there but still not on it to post yet.....Everyone here is awesome. Of course, Motts, too and his wonderful photos.......
I never post comments but I am a regular visitor to Opacity and I have also learned a lot from Lynne. If I have a question about a photo I just scroll down and look for her name!
Hi guys!

It is nice to see your type Lynne! I to have gained so much knowledge just reading your explanations...and I also got the urge to bang my head after a while lol. So nice to see you post :)
Hiya, Toots!
