i had those creepy old radiators in every house I'd lived in until just recently. We took them out of our house, and they were all laying on our front lawn. I guess they're worth some value since a guy cam by and decided to take them. I had painted mine Hot Pink, and it was the only one he didn't take.
Poor little pink radiator. It's now a perminant lawn ornament though!

People that are mentally unbalanced need to have "stability" and "similarity" to cope. It is more comfortable if everything LOOKS the same and FEELS the same in a room. Hence, the refelctiveness of hospitals, and the light "soothing" colors.
