It could represent those slaughtered in the death camps by gassing with
Zyklon-B which leaves a blue staining called Prussian blue...

Like a surrealist painting...weird. I agree with jenberry, catching sight of these in the dark along with that soldier mannequin would have me running for the hills. :'D
