Auditorium

Auditorium

The large auditorium resembled more of a theater.

It's a very scary auditorium at night, and when your light shines on the quote " Poets but not so much poetry it scares the hell out of you
The main building had a chapel in it. Also the northern part of it was also used as housing for nurses and doctors. My father's office was down the main entrance up a set of stairs and on the third door on the right. He was the cheif engineer at the time he worked there.
I can't believe how much stupid damage has been done to this room!!! I guess that's how some people get their jolly's.........
I guess it was destined to have a sad end.
Sometimes a little destructiion feels really good..........4 out of 5 people in my head like it!
hahaha nice Phantom...thats like "I'm not a schizo, and neither am i" : )
also...i'm not condoning any type of destruction to these places...wwwwipe, slate cleaned
In the upper center was where the organ was. I went up there one night and sat on the organ bench and smoked a joint. It made it a very spiritual adventure.
I've heard a few stories from a few of my friend's that have been in here. One of them have told me that he's been in this caff. and he also said it's a big place for people who really like to party. Just last week, he told me that he has witnessed the hauntings for himself. He said that when he was on the second floor with his friend, around the corner, you would here the doors slamming.
Well, that does it for me! Consider me converted!
John Mac, pot makes any adventure in an abandoned asylum "very Spiritual" I'm sure.
P.B., I was working nights at the time so I had all the living and dead around. A number perhaps makes it a little more exciting but it doesn't change the meaning. All it did was to help absorb what I was feeling without exhaling it from my soul. I brought it home with me.
Johnny Mac: it is hard at times to not bring work home with you, so I believe that having to take a toke every now and then really is not a bad, thing, I never worked at a State hospital, but there were nights at the nursing home that I could have used some sort of release!!
as I was looking at this picture, I realize how different a blck and white VS color picture can change a persons perspective, the black and white photo of the auditorium showing the balcony looks angelic and timelss, this color picture, shows graffiti and disrepair, it is just sad to me to let something so beautiful go to waste! :-(
The mother of my girlfriend used to work in the hospital and says that the auditorium was rarely used. It may be possible that the auditorium was not used for recreation, but rather for medical demonstrations
since who knows how old this picture was taken .. i wonder how this auditorium looks now..
What does the wall say on the stage ?
