What used to be there?
Not sure, possibly a shelf for storing various tissues and organs that needed to be refrigerated.
Pretty nice.

I like how some of the loose tiles are overlapping the ones that are still intact.

I'm sure the tissue samples appreciated it.

This place was built with an eye for aesthetics even in the morgue coolers... sweet.
I like my cadavers at room temperature
