Fallen Curtains

Fallen Curtains

This space was breathtaking... what's more amazing is that there were three, if not four replicas of this room on the campus.

Oh wow...can you imagine how gorgeous this was in its heyday if it looks this beautiful now?
this is heartbreaking. all these places have these beautiful theartures that just seem to never decay just stay amazing
The floor looks almost pristine. Glad for a new gallery, Motts. Thanks!
Utterly out of this world
I'm here to stay- wedding ceremony??????
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
It looks HUGE...!
mott's was this like a theatre ... and also u mentioned they have shot movies here do u know which ones id like to netflix them
I love how the cords from the curtains on the stage seem to be pointing up to the rose windows-- Almost ominous, yet reflective.

The red above it all, though, reminds me of the blood brought on by tuberculosis. I like it.
Looks like it was very extravagant at one time, really fantastic lighting and wonderful full windows. almost looks like a church.
Wow I love this room O.O
pretty
love that window!
This looks like the theater from A Clockwork Orange....Truly fabulous.
Again...amazing architecture for an institution
Great room! I wonder what that floor is made of. It almost looks like plywood
one thing comes to mind hellraiser
clockwork orange correct
serenityjane- hell yea! this is a great place to seat the guests lol
Where's the wallpaper resolution?
I agree, breathtaking!
I love the large stained glass ....I'm sure if it was cleaned up it would look like new & just beautiful. I agree that this is a large room. Wow.....what a shame & what a waste. Great shot again Motts!!
Gorgeous. You can see the electrical conduits across the top, between the arches, reflecting that the electric lights were retrofitted long after the theater was built. This is stunning architecture. I am in LOVE with that center stage window!!!
Fantastic view...
Just needs some pews and some stained glass.
I dont know why, but there is just something Permanently Magical about Auditoriums such as these, i am a major Theater And Stage Crew Junkie this place is beautifull
The lighting is so beautiful. Contrasts a lot from some of the previous pics. It was a much needed Pick-me-up..lol.
Interesting even the peeling paint forms a archway over the stage. And why are those windows open? If I only had the money for this place. Simply beautiful!!
*gasp* what a breathtaking room. I think I'm in love.....
