Seems that the arched doorways and very tall windows were standard in most of the older hospitals. Gorgeous lighting.
The title to this one is so fitting
Motts, I can't see very clearly, but the floor looks awesome. Can you desribe? Tiling?
That picture looks amazing! it kinda gives me the feeling of being underwater by looking at the ceiling and that peeling paint on the arch looks like seaweed.
SerenityJane, looks to be vinyl or laminate but if it were vinyl im sure it'd be in worse condition?
Matt, thanks for answering.
I went to the nextpic and got my answer. It's tiling and what awesome tiling it is!!!!
I was thinking.. with all that peeling paint.... how come the floors are so clean?
the floors are clean because the crazy patients are eating the paint chips
The zombies are eating them, but only when no brains are available.
Great shot, again I love the floor and arches. Very clean in there.
I do love the color blue ....at least it looks somewhat calming. Better than yellow or some other strange colors that we've seen here in Motts pics through the yrs. The arches are nice too. Is it funny how those doors are always left open in these places when I"m sure 'back in the day' they were closed or locked....well if those walls could 'talk' they'd have much to tell us all....great photo as always Motts!!
The colors and era of this hallway remind me a lot of the game BioShock.
This is the shot that is making me want to finally get to Germany.
Nice !
